Consortium Studio

Orchestrate impact with trustworthy AI and modular robotics

The Consortium Studio helps innovators build and govern collaborative projects for EU and US funding (Horizon Europe, Eurostars, MSCA, Digital Europe, NSF, DOE, NIH, DARPA). Whether you have an idea or want to join one, we connect you to partners and the right calls. We bring the governance-aware orchestrationGovernance-aware AIAI that knows about the rules it operates under: policies, approval boundaries, risk thresholds, logging requirements, and who is accountable for each decision. Governance is built into the system rather than added after the fact. layer; you bring the domain.

How we work

  • Fixed-price engagements, no success fees. You always know the bill, and our incentives are aligned with shipping a credible proposal, not closing one.
  • Three-working-day reply. Submit the short intake at /consortium-studio/start and we return a call shortlist plus a preliminary partner-fit read.
  • Free 30-minute scoping call. We confirm EurostarsEurostarsJoint funding programme of EUREKA and the EU for SME-led research and innovation consortia. • Hardware-agnostic orchestration. Bring your existing robotics and AI stack. We adapt the orchestration layer to your operators and their constraints, not the reverse.

The 5 Ps5 Ps FrameworkStrategic impact lens: People, Planet, Prosperity, Profit, Partnership; aligning technical, governance and business decisions with social, environmental and economic outcomes. as design constraints

People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership are not a branding line. They are the gating constraints we apply to every consortium we agree to coordinate.

People
Technology is co-designed with the operators who carry it. AI assists farmers, divers, surveyors, and technicians; it does not replace them. Inference stays local to the robot where latency and privacy demand it.
Planet
Circularity is a design constraint, not a brochure line. Components are specified for disassembly and reuse; life-cycle thinking sits inside the work-package brief, not at the end.
Prosperity
Hardware-agnostic orchestration drives down per-deployment cost and lifts the floor for SMEs across the coast. Pilots run on the operator's existing kit where possible.
Peace
Cross-sectoral consortia are a calmer way to share scarce sea. Transparent governance, clear evidence, and explainable decisions reduce friction with regulators and communities.
Partnership
The Consortium Studio is the digital fabric for those partnerships. Civil society, academia, industry, and the public sector under one work plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is a consortium?

A consortium is a group of organisations (SMEs, research institutes, universities, NGOs, public bodies) collaborating on a single funded project. EU and US programmes typically require a consortium to spread risk, ensure cross-border impact, and embed both research and deployment partners. MediSea helps form, govern, and submit these groups.

How do I start or join?

Click Start or join a consortium and tell us about your idea, organisation, and the call you target. Coordinators get the partner map and submission plan. Partners get matched into proposals where their capability is a real fit. Same form, same three-working-day reply.

What services do you offer?

Partner matchmaking, proposal strategy, work-package design, governance plan drafting, and responsible-AI integration. Fixed-price engagements. We do not subcontract the governance story or the technical orchestration; that is the work we are here to do.

Do you guarantee funding?

No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. Funding authorities have no fee from us, and we have no inside track. What we do guarantee is preparation: a credible proposal, the right partners, the right call, and the right governance story.

Is there a fee?

Proposal support is fixed-price. No success fee, no commission tied to the grant amount. You always know the bill before you sign.

How quickly do you reply?

Within three working days of submitting the intake form, we return a call shortlist and a preliminary partner-fit read. We also offer a free 30-minute scoping call before any contract is discussed.

What if my idea is outside your focus areas?

We will tell you on the first call rather than sell you a fixed-price engagement that should not happen. See Focus Areas for the three clusters we coordinate; if your work fits even tangentially, the call is worth having.

Do you support US federal programmes too?

Yes for international consortia and US-based partners targeting NSF, DOE, NIH, or DARPA calls. We help structure proposals to agency rules and broker the international partner side. See Programme Pathways for the framing.
